Melody Gawliu

Head Organizer & Founder

Howdy! I'm Melody Gawliu and I'm a Filipino Chinese American and Daly City, California native. I always say "born, raise, live, die, Daly City--God willing!" Some of my passions include being a musician, photographer, event planner, and basically bringing communities together. I'm excited to bring back a festival to celebrate the impact my fellow AAPIs are making locally and hope you'll join us!

Lauren Eng

Organizer

Hi, I'm Lauren Eng! A Chinese-Filipino American born and raised in San Francisco. I love being in the Bay Area because I'm close to the ocean! I LOVE being a filochino and I'm so excited to be able to celebrate the many different cultures at the festival with you! See you there(:

Tracy Ma

Organizer

Fun fact about me is that before I was 10, I’ve lived in 2 different cities- Toronto and Hong Kong, which is why I love traveling and trying new food. If you get to know me, I cut up the best proportionate HK French toasts. I’m into many mediums of arts and crafts from ceramics to tufting to crocheting and music. Please enjoy the festival and have fun!

Kevin Wong

Organizer

Heya! I'm Kevin Wong and I'm a Chinese American San Francisco native. When I’m not at my day job, I’m a singer-songwriter and guitarist who deeply appreciates anything music and arts related! I so hope you come join us and have a blast at this year’s AAPI Fest! There’s going to be so much there for you to enjoy no matter what walk of life you’re coming from!

Gabriel Wong

Organizer

Hi I'm Gabriel Wong, you can call me Gabe! I'm a ABC (American Born Chinese) raised in San Francisco. I travel to eat and my favorite food is Ramen! When I'm not traveling, enjoy trying out new food recipes (poorly), getting out doors to do cycling/hiking/archery, and playing board games with friends.
